My Life So Far was created from recordings gathered by five young people . Neil Sandell and I gave five youth from Alert Bay, a remote island off the west coast of Canada, recording equipment and a simple task: 'Tell us about where you live. Tell us about your life.'
Project Stitch was a youth-driven education project funded by AIDS Vancouver. In 2006 and 2007, I designed and taught workshops for youth to explore ideas about HIV and AIDS. Pieces aired nationally on CBC Radio and across the United States on National Public Radio stations.
